Privacy Policy for Tally and Thyme

Last updated: 2026-08-31

Tally and Thyme is a budget meal-planning tool. It's a static app: no backend server, no account system, no analytics, no tracking.

What data is collected

None. There's no server on the other end to send anything to, so nothing you do in the app is transmitted anywhere.

What's stored, and where

The app keeps a couple of things directly on your device, in local storage, so your choices stick around between visits:

That data stays on your device. We have no access to it, no copy of it, no way to see it. Uninstall the app or clear its storage and it's gone for good.

The "report" feature

Recipe cards include an option to report a problem. It opens your device's own email app with a message pre-filled to [email protected]. Nothing is sent unless you actually hit send yourself, same as writing us an email directly.

Third parties

No external scripts, fonts, ads, or analytics services. No network requests to us or anyone else while you use it.

Children's privacy

No data is collected from anyone, so this holds equally for users of any age.

Changes to this policy

If a future version of the app ever adds something that does transmit data, this page gets updated first, with a new "last updated" date above.
